Description:

CWM Automation Filler & Capper. Fills from 250ml to 5 litre. Can be upgraded to a 4 head filling line.

Packaging Formats:         Bottles of various heights and sizes.

Output Speeds:                Approx 30 - 40 bottles per minute, subject to product type and fill volume.

Manufactured in stainless steel, the conveyor is approximately four metres long and is fitted with a 150mm wide endless belt. The conveyor is fitted with a geared motor drive and is fixed speed. An electrical panel is mounted onto the conveyor frame, fitted with Start / Stop buttons, Filler On/Off, Capper On/Off and an Isolator switch.

Fitted to the conveyor is a DPS2 twin head volumetric product depositor, suitable for filling liquids and gels. The depositor is mounted onto a stainless steel box section frame, with height adjustment for different sizes of bottles. 

The depositor is supplied with an adjustable filling range of 150gm – 500gm and fitted with a positive shut-off filling nozzle to control the accuracy of fill into the bottle. The nozzles “rise & fall” to dive into the bottle during the filling process.

The filler will operate at between 30 - 40 bottles / minute.

A free station is provided for the hand placement of trigger caps onto bottles. The operator is responsible for placing the trigger cap onto the bottle in the correct orientation.

Fitted onto the conveyor is an automatic Cap Tightener assembly. This comprises of a series of motorised rollers to secure the cap tightly onto the bottle. The cap tightener is fitted with torque heads, which can be adjusted to suit different cap types.

The Cap Tightener assembly is height adjustable, to cater for different types of packaging.

Sequence of Operation

  1. Operator manually places bottles onto conveyor.
  2. Bottle travels along the conveyor to the filling station.
  3. Bottle is held stationary by gating mechanism whilst filling product.
  4. Filled bottle travels down the conveyor to the capping station.
  5. Operator manually places a trigger cap onto the bottle.
  6. Bottle passes through automatic Cap Tightener.
  7. Filled and capped bottle travels down the conveyor for end of line packing.
  8. Operator repeats cycle.
