g kettle with National Board#2747 was built in 1997 for a pilot project. It is 60 gallon capcity, with horizontal scrape surface variable speed agitation.
It has the pressure rating of 90Psi @ 331 deg. F and -20 deg. F. It features:
* Clamped down pressure lid with gasket and counter weight for easy lifting.
* Plumbing for steam infeed and condensate outlet.
* Air and cold water connections
* Bottom probe for temperature.
* ABB Commander 1900 chart recorder
* Built-in 5 Gallon Hydraulic power pack, 1HP for tilt discharge of kettle.
* 2HP variable speed drive; 230/460V, 3Ph; currently set at 460V
* 2-1/2" Sanitary drain in bottom/ tilt unload and pour spout discharge.
* Horizontal center agitator with (7) 6.5" long scrapers and internal baffles
The overall dimensions are: 6'Lx 5'6"Wx 60" to the lip of kettle & 92" high with lid open
The kettle measures 28" in diameter and 28" deep.
