The buyer who abandoned the lot will be responsible for any shortfall between the price at which they won the lot, and the amount for which it is resold.

*For those doing business in Georgia: If you are a reseller, please provide us with a copy of your Georgia state-issued resale certificate, or an ST-5 filled in with your GA state resale number.
If you are a manufacturer, you can provide us with a filled-in ST-5M, or Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption for Manufacturers. This must include your Manufacturer’s Sales Tax Number or it will not be accepted.
In all cases, it is up to the buyer to determine whether they are eligible for any exemptions. If a buyer fraudulently claims a tax exemption they are not eligible for, they are opening themselves up to penalties, interest and legal ramifications. Please make your own determinations at your own risk. All forms may be returned to sreardon@tauberaronsinc.com.
*For those doing business outside of Georgia: The only way to be exempt from sales tax is to furnish us with a copy of your Bill of Lading, demonstrating that the items purchased at auction have crossed state lines. Do not fax us a copy of your home state resale license. Do not send in a filled-in form applicable only to Georgia residents. Also, moving the items across a state border yourself doesn’t count. You must have a common carrier move the items, and then give you a Bill of Lading which you then send to us at sreardon@tauberaronsinc.com.
***IMPORTANT***In ALL cases, without exception, if you cannot furnish us with the required tax exemption proof BEFORE payment is made, then you MUST pay the tax. If you can furnish us with the required documentation after payment is made, but within 21 days of the sale, a refund will be promptly issued. There are NO exceptions to this.
***If we have any doubts as to the veracity of tax exemption claims, we reserve the right to refuse tax exemption status.***
LOT REMOVAL
CHECKOUT: Mon., July 31st thru Fri., Aug. 11th, 8am-4pm Mon-Fri. (Weekends by appointment only)
Removal of lots is entirely the responsibility of the bidder. We do not package, load or ship. There will be no equipment, no forklifts or pallet jacks, onsite to facilitate your lot removal. It is up to you to hire a rigger or otherwise provide for the removal of your items.
Additionally, if you are moving items out of the country, please understand that we do not act as customs brokers. You will have to facilitate any and all paperwork involved with removing your items across borders.
We do not currently have any riggers we know of in the area. If/when we do, this list will be updated. Thank you.
